Velvet Rose – Dine for a Difference is an unforgettable 1920s-inspired fundraising gala in support of SOFIA’s Wish Inc.. While we continue to celebrate the incredible contribution of carers, our primary focus is raising vital funds to provide much-needed services, resources, and support to those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

Our Third Year of Velvet Rose, held on Saturday 21st September 2024
How did Velvet Rose begin?
Well, initially we wanted to be able to celebrate and recognise all the inspiring carers who dedicate their time and energy to caring for others.Our goal is to be able to reach many people within the industry, whether paid, volunteering, not-for-profit charities, or service providers individuals or companies that provide services to those in the NDIS sector ie home care, personal care, therapist etc.
Each year we have a special guest who shares their inspiring journey, why and how they got to where they are today, battles they faced and overcame. It is a chance to hear firsthand stories of resilience and dedication that remind us why we do what we do.
